AssuredPartners, through its Dawson Companies platform, has purchased Evans Insurance Agency, for an undisclosed amount.
Evans Insurance Agency, founded in 1876, focuses on business insurance, including workers’ compensation, liability and group employee benefit plans; personal insurance, including home, automobile and renters’ insurance; and life and health services.
The agency reports about $2m in revenue.
Evans Insurance Agency president Steve Shechter said that the company’s culture of client service and advocacy drives its business decisions.
"As part of Dawson Companies and AssuredPartners, we join a network of talented agencies that offer many new insurance options for our clients," Shechter added.
As part of the latest acquisition, 18 Evans Insurance Agency employees will join Dawson Companies, while the agency will continue to operate in its Akron and Dover, Ohio sites.
