Assurant Health, a provider of individual medical, small group and specialty health insurance products, and TeamChoice, a healthcare network, have jointly formed a new healthcare network called Platinum TeamChoice.
The new network proposes to offer low cost healthcare for small businesses and individuals in Lubbock while providing access to an expanded list of renowned physicians and medical facilities in the Lubbock area. Platinum TeamChoice will be available to small businesses on January 1, 2008 and to individuals on February 1, 2008.
Thomas Coffey, senior sales representative for Texas at Assurant Health’s north star marketing, said: Our partnership will cut the premium for insured individuals from 15% to 30% while at the same time giving them access to some of the very best health care providers in the Lubbock area.
