Assurant, a provider of specialty insurance and insurance-related products and services, has appointed Brian Koppy as the new vice president of investor relations.
Koppy most recently served as as director of investor relations and communications at Barnes Group, a diversified specialty industrial business.
Prior to joining Barnes Group, Koppy held a variety of senior leadership roles within finance, strategy and planning, and investor relations at Aetna.
Assurant investor relations senior vice president Melissa Kivett said that Brian’s financial and investor relations experience, both in the insurance industry and at a specialty diversified business, are an efficient fit for the company and will help it augment its communications with investors.
