Atlanta-based specialty insurer Assurant Solutions has launched the new MyClaim mobile application for iPhone or iPad and Android devices.

Customers with electronics or appliances covered by an Assurant extended service contract can view the contract’s information, as well as track any claims or service appointments through the application.

On initiation of a claims process, the solution allows policyholders to also track the status of their claim and reschedule service appointments directly.

Assurant Solutions extended service contract business president Joe Erdeman said the application will also enable clients to reschedule home service appointments to the date and time as per their convenience.

"We are always looking for new ways to help consumers, and we’re pleased to provide them with an easier way to manage their service contract claims," Erdeman added.

The application is free and can be downloaded for both Apple and Android devices and can be installed by following a few easy steps.
