Aspen Insurance Holdings has promoted Simon Mason to the role of deputy head of marine and energy international insurance division, effective immediately.
In connection with the promotion, Mr Mason will take on greater management responsibilities. He will continue to report to John Henderson, head of marine and energy international insurance division.
Mr Mason joined Aspen in December 2004. He currently serves on the London market Joint Rig Committee, which is a representative forum for the London marine energy market, and previously has worked in the Lloyd’s market.
