Aspen Insurance, a provider of reinsurance and insurance coverage, has appointed Jonny Atkinson as manager, distribution and business development in the UK.
In his new role, Atkinson will work with its senior team and key underwriters.
Based in London, he will report to Rupert Villers co-CEO of Aspen Insurance.
Atkinson has 20 years of broking experience. He most recently worked for broking group RK Harrison, where he helped to establish their new ExecPro division. He has also held roles with Willis, Jardine Lloyd Thompson and J&H Insurance.
Villers said in conjunction with the appointment of Bob Rheel in the US, this strategy clearly demonstrates the commitment to distribution network and creating the best environment for the business to deliver in all market cycles.
