Ash Brokerage, an Indiana-based privately-owned insurance brokerage general agency, has acquired a minority equity stake in Blue Frog Solutions, a provider of life & annuity order management, client management and compliance solutions.
The transaction also includes that the Ash Brokerage will utilize Blue Frog as a primary enterprise technology solutions provider.
Through this partnership, Blue Frog will make available to Ash Brokerage a host of solutions that will automate front and back-end business processes between carriers and distributors, with a focus on automating much of the business processes.
Ash Brokerage will be working with Blue Frog to design and create a new agency management platform that will allow for a feature-rich and user-friendly interface for its internal staff. This platform will provide the ability to integrate existing Blue Frog products that include Affirm for Life, Affirm for Annuities, PolicyBox, I-Relay, and OneView.
Ash Brokerage president and CEO Tim Ash said the company believe Blue Frog’s technology capabilities will provide Ash Brokerage with an agency management platform that will drive scalable efficiency and effectiveness.
