Arthur J Gallagher & Co, an insurance brokerage and risk management services firm, has acquired Illinois-based Behnke & Co.
Established in 1983, Behnke & Co is a retail insurance broker providing commercial property/casualty, employee benefits and risk management consulting services to their clients throughout the US.
Behnke & Co specialize in insurance coverage for the agricultural processing, medical malpractice, construction, entertainment, hospitality, public entity, transportation and manufacturing industries.
Gallagher has said that Christopher Behnke and his associates will continue to operate from their current locations under the direction of Thomas Gallagher, Midwest regional manager of Gallagher’s retail property/casualty brokerage operation.
Behnke & Co president and CEO Patrick Gallagher said Behnke & Co will be a terrific addition to Gallagher’s Midwest Region.
