Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG), an insurance brokerage and risk management services firm, has acquired Alabama-based Whitehaven Insurance Group for an undisclosed amount.
AJG chairman, president and CEO J. Patrick Gallagher said, "Their team-based culture, specialized expertise, and outstanding client service will be a wonderful complement to our Southeastern Region."
Under the direction of Gallagher’s retail property/casualty brokerage operations Southeastern regional manager Mitchel Brashier, Bruce Q. White, Debra Gibson, Scott Harris and their associates will continue to operate in their Gulf Shores location.
Founded in 1994, Whitehaven Insurance Group is a retail insurance broker that specializes in high risk coastal properties for condominium associations and private homeowners.
The firm also provides personal and commercial property/casualty insurance products and services clients throughout the Southeastern US.
