US-based insurance brokerage and risk management services firm Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has completed the acquisition of Heiser Insurance Agency (HIA), a US-based retail insurance broker.
Terms and conditions of the transaction have not been disclosed.
HIA’s team will continue to operate from its existing Moines location under the leadership of Arthur J. Gallagher Midwest retail property/casualty brokerage operations head Thomas Gallagher.
Arthur J Gallagher & Co chairman, president and CEO J Patrick Gallagher, Jr said Heiser’s strong focus on team-based client service will complement Arthur’s expertise in the Midwest.
Arthur J Gallagher & Co has also acquired Michigan-based retirement consulting firm, The Eriksen Group for an undisclosed amount.
HIA provides retail property/casualty, employee benefits and risk management insurance services for commercial clients throughout the Midwestern US.
Arthur J Gallagher & Co trades in 17 nations, and offers client service capabilities in more than 110 geographies across the globe through a network of correspondent brokers and consultants.
