US insurance brokerage and risk management services firm Arthur J Gallagher & Co has acquired Park Row Associates in Providence, from its parent, Delta Dental of Rhode Island, for an undisclosed sum.
Following the closing of transaction, the Park Row team will continue to operate in Providence under the direction of David Ziegler, Eastern Regional executive vice president of Gallagher’s employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations.
Arthur J Gallagher chairman, president and CEO J Patrick Gallagher, Jr said the acquired business sales-focused team and solid middle market business will be a complement to its employee benefits brokerage and consulting operation.
Established in 1994, Park Row Associates is an employee benefits insurance broker which delivers a range of group employee benefits products and consulting services to their clients, located primarily in the Northeastern US.
Arthur trades in 17 geographies and delivers client-service capabilities in more than 110 nations around the globe through a network of correspondent brokers and consultants.
