Founded in 1982, NAI is a managing general agent and wholesale insurance broker, which offers property/casualty, commercial auto/garage and other specialty insurance services to its customers across the south central US.

Under the leadership of Gallagher’s subsidiary Risk Placement Services president Joel Cavaness, NAI’s Joshua Blevins, John Speir and their associates will continue to operate from their current locations in Florence and Cabot, Arkansas.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. chairman, president and CEO J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., said: "The NAI team is well-known for their depth of underwriting experience as well as their strong market relationships.

"Their sales culture, focus on client services and product specialization will be a great complement to Risk Placement Services’ capabilities."

In May this year, Gallagher purchased Canada-based Vital Benefits, which is an insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits products and consulting services to corporate, professional and individual clients in Canada.

With operations in around 140 countries, AJG offers client-service capabilities across the globe through a network of correspondent brokers and consultants.
