US-based insurance brokerage and risk management services firm Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG) has acquired Iowa-based Miller-Harrison Insurance Services.

Established in 1919, Miller-Harrison is a retail insurance broker that offers commercial property/casualty, risk management consulting and personal lines insurance services to clients in the Midwest.

Under the leadership of Gallagher’s Midwest region retail property/casualty brokerage operations head Michael Pesch, the acquired business’ Michael Harrison, Jeffrey Miller and their team will continue to operate in Muscatine.

With operations in around 30 countries, AJG offers client-service capabilities in about 140 countries across the globe through a network of correspondent brokers and consultants.
