Arthur J Gallagher & Co has acquired Miller Buettner & Parrott in Rockford, Illinois for an undisclosed amount, in a bid to break sustainable ground in the arena of employee benefits insurance and consulting services in the US.
The insurance giant will also benefit from the firm’s specialised knowledge and products in life, accident, health, dental, vision, prescription, wellness, voluntary and disability plans, the firm said.
Under the terms of the deal, Laurie Miller and her associates will continue to operate from their current location under the direction of William Ziebell, North Central Regional executive vice president of Gallagher’s employee benefit consulting and brokerage operation.
