Arthur J Gallagher & Co, a Illinois-based insurance brokerage and risk management services firm, has acquired Florida-based retail insurance broker Bushong Insurance Associates.
Bushong provides commercial property/casualty and risk management insurance services to clients primarily in Northeastern Florida.
The retail insurer Bushong also specialize in insurance coverage for residential condominium and homeowner associations as well as apartment communities, rental pools, resorts and management companies.
Arthur J Gallagher said that the Bushong’s employees will continue to operate in Ponte Vedra Beach under the direction of Mitchel Brashier, Southeastern regional manager of Gallagher’s retail property/casualty brokerage operation.
Arthur J Gallagher & Co chairman, president and CEO Patrick Gallagher said Bushong is a specialized business expertise and dedicated client service.
