Arthur J. Gallagher & Co has acquired Wellington Associates, a Flowood, Mississippi-based insurance agency, for an undisclosed amount.

Wellington Associates is a full service agency providing property/casualty and employee benefits coverages and services to businesses and individuals throughout the state of Mississippi, with expertise in serving a wide range of entities, including schools, churches and towing companies.
Walter ‘Buster’ Wellington, William ‘Billy’ Horne and their associates will continue to operate from their current location under the direction of Bumpy Triche, head of Gallagher’s Mid-South region retail property/casualty brokerage operations, and Robby White, head of Gallagher’s South Central region employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations.
