UK-based commercial lines underwriter, Arista Insurance, has signed deals with two local brokers for development of schemes targeting insurance requirements in specific locations or business classes.
The underwriter has joined forces with Leicestershire-based broker, CRK Commercial Insurance, to launch the HVAC scheme, which is designed to cater heating and ventilation contractors and associated trades.
Developed from Arista’s Contractors Combined policy, the scheme also includes additional bespoke terms and limits for the policyholders.
Additional two deals were signed with Bury-based Prestige Insurance to offer tenant’s liability scheme and a retail scheme.
The tenant’s liability scheme was launched specifically for Prestige’s increasing number of residential lettings customers, while the retail scheme covers high street shops and also offers bespoke covers for the company’s specialist areas, such as DIY, hardware and fishing tackle retailers.
Arista chief executive Charles Earle said the company’s initiative to develop and launch additional schemes demonstrates its ethos of working with brokers as partners.
”All of Arista’s regional teams are poised to build and deliver more schemes with brokers they work closely with so we will be making further announcements in due course,” Earle added.
