Argo Group International Holdings, has promoted Ron Vindivich as new senior vice president for transportation underwriting for Colony Specialty (formerly Colony), a division in the excess and surplus segment.
In his new role, Vindivich will be responsible for developing the strategy of a soon-to-be combined garage, brokerage transportation and binding transportation organization.
Vindivich has over 20 years of experience at Chubb, Kemper and CNA. He joined Colony in July 2006 as VP of underwriting for the industrial casualty division, and in August 2008, became the VP of brokerage casualty when Colony combined the industrial casualty, general casualty and excess casualty divisions.
Argo Group Excess and Surplus Lines segment president Levinson said Ron will draw from his extensive leadership and insurance background leading teams through transitions, building meaningful relationships with customers, analyzing profit and loss statements, and identifying best practices for the combined business.
