Colony Specialty, a member of Bermuda-based Argo Group International Holdings, is offering business auto coverage along with its general liability and pollution coverages through its environmental division.
According to the company, the targeted operations include the fleets of environmental contractors and consultants, environmental facilities, restoration contractors, and environmental products manufacturers.
Environmental Underwriting SVP Marsh Duncan said the business auto coverage offering is a significant addition to the company’s expanding product line.
"By offering an admitted auto product that includes pollution, we position our brokers to have a greater impact on an insured’s overall insurance program," Duncan added.
Available in 46 states, the coverage includes broadened pollution as well as required financial responsibility filings and endorsements, together with liability limits of up to $1m, besides separate excess policies for eligible risks requiring higher limits.
Additional business auto liability coverages offered include uninsured / underinsured motorist, personal injury protection (no fault), as well as hired and non-owned auto liability.
The company is also offering auto physical damage coverage, as well as rental reimbursement, roadside service and repair, and auto loan / lease gap coverage.
