To provide strategic, leadership support to the company's global reinsurance operations

Arch Reinsurance Company has promoted Tim Olson to the position of president and chief executive officer of Arch Reinsurance Company. The company also announced that John Rathgeber, who had been serving as the company’s chairman and chief executive officer, has been promoted to the newly-created role of vice chairman of Arch Worldwide Reinsurance Group, as well as chairman of Arch Reinsurance Company.

Mr Dale Vincent, formerly the company’s executive vice president, specialty casualty, was promoted to chief underwriting officer, assuming overall responsibility of the company’s underwriting policies and procedures.

In his new role, Mr Olson will assume responsibility for the overall management of Arch Reinsurance from its headquarters in Morristown, New Jersey.
