Arch Insurance Group, a subsidiary of Arch Capital Group, has appointed David Finkelstein as executive vice president of Arch’s surety division effective may 3, 2010.

Based in Philadelphia, Mr Finkelstein will be responsible for the overall direction of the Surety division, overseeing the underwriting and operations of all Arch surety offices nationwide. He will report to David McElroy, president of the financial and professional liability products group.
