To enhance productivity of the risk services
Aon Risk Services, a risk management and insurance brokerage company, has appointed Sandeep Malik as chief executive officer. Mr Malik will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Bernard Fung, chairman and chief executive officer of Aon Asia Pacific.
The company said that Mr Malik joined ARS from Prudential Asia, where he served as chief commercial officer and for the past ten years he has been involved with business initiatives and worked in the twelve country markets where Prudential Asia has business, including their two joint ventures in China and India.
Before joining Prudential Asia, Mr Malik was a partner at Marakon Associates, a management consulting firm that pioneered principles and tools that became the mainstream approach to managing for shareholder value. He joined Marakon in 1994 and worked in the US and European practices before relocating to build and lead the practice in Asia.
