Aon Middle East has opened its regional headquarters in the Dubai International Finance Center, after receiving a full license to operate within the DIFC.

The new regional headquarters in the Dubai International Finance Center (DIFC) will provide clients with expert advice, as well as new products. It will also allow clients to link into the Aon network across 120 countries, combining global presence with specific country expertise that can facilitate the most complex of cross-border transactions.

The company stated that the opening of its new office in the DIFC reflects the increasingly open approach in providing services in the region.

Latif AlRayes, chairman of Aon’s Middle East operations, said: We are very pleased to have received our DIFC license and with the free zone fast moving towards its goal of becoming the fourth major world financial hub, it make sense for us to locate our regional headquarters here.
