Aon Corporation, a provider of global risk management and consulting services, has appointed Damien Guermonprez as the new CEO of Aon France.

Mr Guermonprez replaces Vincent Redier, who will continue to serve as the executive chairman of Aon France, member of the executive board of Aon Risk Services (ARS), and chairman of Aon Re Europe-Middle East-Africa (EMEA). Mr Guermonprez joins Aon on September 1, 2008, and will be a member of the ARS executive board.

Mr Guermonprez joins Aon from Banque Accord, where he served as CEO of the consumer credit card and e-banking subsidiary of Auchan Group. He has a post graduate diploma in international finance and taxation from the University of Lille II, a master of finance from the Essec Business School in Paris, and a master in business administration from the Harvard Business School.
