Aon Corporation, a risk adviser and insurance broker, has appointed Peter Breitstone as the new president and CEO of Agency Specialty Product Network Insurance Services.
Jerry Tegan, who has served as president and CEO for eight years, will now serve as the chairman of Agency Specialty Product Network Insurance Services (ASPN).
Mr Breitstone, who is an attorney, joined Aon in 2006 when it purchased his environmental risk and insurance brokerage business. He brings to ASPN more than 25 years of experience as an independent agent.
Ted Devine, president of Aon Risk Services, said: Peter’s extensive experience, expertise and relationships in the independent agent and broker marketplace will continue to drive the growth and evolution of the ASPN distribution model, as well as broaden ASPN’s offering of innovative products and services.
