Insurance company Aon has appointed Robert Brown as the CEO of its corporate division, which includes the commercial insurance, professional services group and Aon trade credit operations.
Mr Brown joined Aon in 2001 and was most recently head of risk transfer for Aon Global and was responsible for the program design and placement of corporate and multinational clients of UK. He replaces John Thornton, who left Aon to pursue other opportunities.
