McLagan, an Aon Hewitt company, has appointed Michael Burke as president, with Brian Dunn moving into the role of chairman.

The company said, Dunn will continue to serve as CEO for the broader Global Compensation practice of Aon Hewitt, the global human resource consulting and outsourcing business of Aon Corporation.

In his new role, Burke will be responsible to build McLagan’s performance practice.

Before joining McLagan, Burke was the co-founder of MIB Partners and also worked with UBS Investment Bank and BZW, within their banking and capital markets divisions.

As a chairman, Dunn will continue to lead the Aon Hewitt Global Compensation franchise, focusing on a broader and more seamless product offering, as well as greater geographic breadth, said the company.

In addition, Dunn will continue to focus on his client responsibilities in the executive compensation space.

McLagan said that the move is designed to further the integration between the Performance / Reward practice within McLagan, reflecting changing client needs for advice and bridge performance, compensation and the regulatory environment.
