AmWINS Group, a wholesale distributor of specialty insurance products and services, has appointed Skip Cooper, president of AmWINS, as new CEO of its international division Colemont Global Group (CGGL) and Colemont Insurance Brokers Limited (CIBL), a full service Lloyd's broker.
In addition, Jeremy Underwood, currently non-executive director of CIBL, has returned to CIBL on a full time basis as chairman of CIBL and will work closely with Cooper to oversee Colemont Global Group’s London and International operations.
Surinder Beerh, who formerly served as CEO of Colemont Global Group and CIBL, has left to pursue other interests with immediate effect.
In April 2010, AmWINS Group acquired CGGL and CIBL in connection with the merger of AmWINS and Colemont Insurance Brokers.
