AmWINS Group, a wholesale distributor of specialty insurance products and services, has expanded its operations with a new office location in North Carolina.
The new North Carolina office will focus primarily on personal lines risks, including high value homeowners, HO6, excess flood and excess windstorm.
As a part of this expansion, AmWINS has appointed Karen Toler, formerly of Burns & Wilcox, to lead the new office.
She has been in the wholesale insurance industry for the past 25 years, with extensive experience in underwriting personal lines risks, particularly H06 (condominium) policies.
AmWINS offers value-added services to support some of these products, including product development, underwriting, premium and claims administration and actuarial services.
