PolicyCenter streamlines processes of new business submission, change endorsement, and renewal management
Amica Mutual Insurance, a mutual insurer of automobiles, has selected Guidewire PolicyCenter from Guidewire Software as its new policy administration and underwriting system.
Guidewire said that Amica will begin its phased PolicyCenter implementation with its automobile line of business and will follow with deployment to its other lines of business.
According to the company, Amica has completed deployment of Guidewire ClaimCenter, and is now using the system to support its claims handling operations across the US. Amica will now leverage the technology skills acquired during that successful project for its PolicyCenter implementation.
Guidewire PolicyCenter provides property and casualty insurers with a modern, full lifecycle policy administration system. Supporting both commercial and personal lines, PolicyCenter streamlines the processes of new business submission, change endorsement, and renewal management. PolicyCenter is built on the same web-based, platform as Guidewire’s claims solution, Guidewire ClaimCenter.
