US-based Ameritas Life Insurance has completed the acquisition of BNL Financial Corporation (BNL), a subsidiary of Brokers National Life Assurance Company.
The acquisition was completed after receiving approval by the Arkansas Department of Insurance and other conditions in December 2011.
Post acquisition, BNL will operate as a separate subsidiary of Ameritas Life and Brokers National offering its brokers group dental, vision and hearing care products through Ameritas Group, a division of Ameritas Life.
Currently, Brokers National collects $39m of group premium annually.
Ameritas Life Insurance provides a wide range of insurance and financial services to customers throughout the US including life insurance, annuities, group dental, vision and hearing care insurance, retirement plans, investments and public finance.
