American General Life Companies has appointed Curtis Olson as new president and CEO of its Benefit Solutions.
Olson will join the American General from ING Life Insurance, Korea, where he served as president and CEO. Before that, he served as president of ING Employee Benefits, US, where he was also responsible for ING’s affinity business.
As the head of ING Employee Benefits, he focused on a strategy to streamline operations, launch new products and increase focus on voluntary sales.
Benefit Solutions chairman Jim Mallon said Curt is a seasoned global insurance executive with more than 32 years of insurance experience, 30 of which have been devoted to the employee benefits business in progressively senior levels.
