Aims at introducing customised Telematic solutions for insurance companies

Altea and Ubiq would initially provide Fleet Management and Localization-based technologies in Peru and then in South America. They aim at introducing customised solutions for insurance companies such as Pay–As–You–Drive (PAYD) or Pay-Per-Use (PPU) – reported in pr-usa.net

This is expected to enable insurance companies (and car drivers) to reduce their costs by exactly profiling their insurance according to the real needs, habits and usage attitudes of the drivers.

UBIQ consolidates its business with the addition of telematics services, adding new business opportunities and widening the range of the applications offered to the final customer by venturing with ALTEA.

ALTEA introduces its Open Telematics Platform (OTP) to the Pruvian market, which provides a suite of services like Safety & Security (anti-theft vehicle tracking and eCall), Fleet Management, Customised insurance (Pay-As-You-Drive), Traffic Management, and Remote Diagnostics.

UBIQ is a Peru-based company that researches, develops and integrates market solutions for M2M (machine-to-machine) communication.
