Allstate, a personal line insurer in the US, has launched a new application called Allstate Mobile, which is currently available in application stores for iPhone and Blackberry users.

According to Allstate, its new mobile application will allow the users to pay their bill, view policy information, initiate a claim, or find an agent, all these from their mobile device.

The features of new Allstate Mobile include: policy information including policy numbers, coverage dates and agent contact information; paying of bill which is convenient with efficient account management options; start a claim which begins reporting process for filing a claim; agent locator; and accident toolkit used to capture information after an accident.
