Personal lines insurer The Allstate has appointed Katherine Mabe as president of its Allstate Protection's central/west regions, effective 11 July.
Allstate Protection offers private passenger auto and homeowners insurance products to individuals.
Mabe will also serve as a member of the senior management team and will report to Joseph Lacher president, Allstate Protection.
Previously, he was president and CEO of the Economical Insurance, a property-casualty insurance company in Canada.
She has also held number of management roles at Nationwide, including president of its specialty products division and president of two Nationwide subsidiaries, Titan Insurance and Victoria Insurance.
