Allied World Assurance appoints new SVP for specialty insurance

Allied World Assurance has appointed Todd Germano as the new senior vice president for the specialty insurance division of Allied World US.

In his new role, Mr Germano will be responsible for developing new products with a focus on specialty programs. He will be based in Allied World’s New York office.

Prior to his position with Allied World, Mr Germano worked for American International Group for 11 years, most recently serving as executive vice president for AIG Specialty Excess.

Mr Germano graduated with a masters of business administration in finance from Fordham University and a bachelor of science in business administration with a major in marketing from the University of Connecticut.
