Allied World Assurance Company Holdings has appointed Theana Iordanou as vice president and New York branch. She will be responsible for managing profit and loss and work for the New York region and will work with the business development team and underwriters to expand distribution and manage relationships with the brokerage community.

Ms Iordanou has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Allied World, she held a number of senior-level positions in the insurance industry, on executive liability, business development and relationship management both in-house and, for many years, as an independent consultant.
