Allied World US, a subsidiary of Allied World Assurance, has appointed Marcel Ricciardelli as senior vice president of Environmental.
As a senior vice president, Ricciardelli will be responsible for production and profitability and continue to build-out the division and company’s existing product suite in the US market.
Ricciardelli, who has 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, was vice president of Philadelphia Insurance Companies.
Before joining Philadelphia Insurance, he held senior leadership roles at both XL Insurance – Environmental and at AIG in the environmental division.
His responsiblility also includes underwriting operations, business development and broker relations, and new product development.
