Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America has appointed Denise Settimi as the new vice president of operations controls within the enterprise operations department.
Ms Settimi will be responsible for driving adherence to consolidated controls and suitability-like functions as well as providing strategic leadership on regulatory and compliance requirements.
She will also oversee underwriting, risk management, suitability, special markets and customer relations.
Prior to this, Ms Settimi was chief operating officer at Hartford, where she was leading all aspects of the company’s mutual fund and 529 service operations. She has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.
