Developed along with the local partner Allianz SNA Lebanon, the four new core plans offer clients with access to a network of healthcare facilities in Lebanon and across the Allianz Worldwide Care global network.

Each core plan provides cashless treatments at a range of both in-patient and day-care facilities. They also offer other benefits, including medical evacuation, full-refund oncology treatment, and rehabilitation treatment.

The new plans also provide additional levels of cover such as out-patient, dental, maternity and repatriation.

Allianz Worldwide Care sales and marketing director Alexis Obligi said: "Lebanon has a growing population of some 4.5m people together with a globally mobile expat community.

"In developing the plans, we have been particularly mindful of the cost of cover. We have therefore incorporated a range of deductible options, which will reduce the premium, and clients can choose from two different geographical regions of cover."

Allianz SNA Lebanon COO Bassem Assi said: "We are a leading health insurance provider in Lebanon, with more than 30 years’ experience in addressing local needs. We are now happy to extend our offering to premium international health cover through the Allianz Group network."

Allianz Worldwide Care offers insurance products for health, life and disability to clients and insurance partners across the globe.
