Alliant Insurance Services, an insurance brokerage firm, has named Diana Kiehl as the company's new chief administrative officer, a new position created to meet the growing administration needs of the Newport Beach-based company.

Ms Kiehl has been assoiced with Alliant for 18-years, who most recently served as managing director of brokerage services.

In her new role, Ms Kiehl will partner with key Alliant executives to broaden sales and service best practices within the company’s various specialty groups and practices. In addition, she will oversee Alliant’s human resources function and its client-focused business services group.

Tom Corbett, chairman and CEO of Alliant, said: It is a great pleasure for me to announce that Ms Kiehl has been chosen for the position of chief administrative officer. As Alliant has grown having doubled in size in the last five years we have intentionally avoided adding layers of management and remain dedicated to a ‘flat’ management structure.

However, our continuing growth has resulted in increased administrative challenges, and it became apparent that we needed to broaden the executive management team to help absorb the increased responsibilities while still enabling us to maintain our company’s flat structure. Because of her intimate knowledge of Alliant and her long-term involvement in implementing our business philosophy, Ms Kiehl is the ideal person for this new position.
