Alliance HealthCard, a provider of health discount and lifestyle benefits, has reported revenue of $4.8 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2008, an increase of 30% compared to $3.7 million for the corresponding period of fiscal 2007.

Gross profit was $2.3 million for the first quarter ended December 31, 2007, an increase of 123% compared to $1 million for the same period ended December 31, 2006. Net income was $0.6 million, or $0.04 per fully diluted share for the first quarter of fiscal 2008, compared to net loss of $1.4 million, or $0.14 per share for the corresponding period of fiscal 2007.

Danny Wright, CEO, said: We now have three full quarters since the completion of the BMS merger. The successful integration of that company has enabled us to reduce direct costs by taking advantage of the synergies that exist between the two entities.
