American International Group, a provider of insurance services, has appointed Mark Willis to the position of senior vice president for domestic general insurance business.

Mr Willis has previously served as vice president for domestic general insurance, in addition to his role as executive vice president of American International Group’s (AIG) domestic brokerage group (DBG). He will continue in that role with DBG, where he is responsible for overseeing field operations including all regional offices and their territories.

AIG has also appointed Alexander Baugh as vice president for foreign general insurance unit. Mr Baugh will continue in his current role as managing director of AIG UK and regional president of foreign general’s UK/Ireland division, where he is responsible for the general insurance operations of American International Underwriters in the UK and Ireland.

Richard Booth has been elected as vice president in addition to his current roles as chairman of HSB Group, and the senior executive in charge of the deliver the firm initiative, AIG’s strategy to enhance the delivery of products and services to customers worldwide.

Robert Schimek has been elected as vice president for domestic general insurance. He also continues to serve as senior vice president and CFO of DBG, a position he has held since 2005. Teri Watson has been elected as vice president of rating agency relations. She was previously managing director for rating agencies, a position she has held since 2003.
