AI Risk Specialists Insurance, a wholly owned brokerage subsidiary of American International Group, has introduced LexExpress, an excess auto liability insurance developed to address the needs of small to medium-sized fleets in the trucking industry.
LexExpress is designed to provide limits of $1 million in excess of a $1 million primary placement. In addition to the standard excess auto liability coverage, the policy provides ancillary coverages such as pollution and accident and health coverage. AI Risk can address the exposures of long and short-haul truckers, flat bed haulers, dry bulk garbage, mix-in-transit, and moving and storage.
LexExpress is underwritten on a non-admitted basis by Lexington Insurance Company as part of the AIG Transportation Solutions practice, and is available throughout the US with the exception of Alabama, Delaware, Louisiana, New York City and New Jersey.
