Ageas Insurance, a provider of non-life and life products, has expanded its commercial broker business team with appointment of three new account executives to cover the North East, East and West Midlands, and South West regions of the UK.
Earlier to Ageas, the newly appointed Jonnie Armstrong served as regional sales executive for Liverpool Victoria, where he was responsible for developing relations with commercial insurance brokers.
Armstrong brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry including roles at Zurich and NIG (RBS).
Gavin Peacock will join Ageas from UK General Insurance Group where he held the role of schemes business development manager. Peacock has 31 years experience of working in the insurance industry having previously served at Towergate and Eagle Star/Zurich.
Previous to Ageas, the newly appointed Jason Jackson was at Westinsure Group as operations manager. He was responsible for looking after 180 brokers and a number of insurer relationships across the UK.
Jackson has has the 23 years of experience in insurance industry for including his time at Marsh and Commercial Union.
Ageas distribution and development director Chris Dobson said that the new appointments are key to supporting the commercial business expansion plans.
