Aflac, a provider of guaranteed-renewable insurance products, has promoted Ronald Agypt to senior vice president, Aflac Broker Sales.

In his new role, Agypt will be responsible for broker-related corporate strategies, operational performance, professional and management development, and national marketing relationships.

Agypt joined the Aflac Broker Sales Division in 2008 as vice president. Before Aflac, he spent over than 34 years with Combined Insurance, where his last two roles were managing director and senior vice president of the company.

Agypt also served on the boards of directors of Sterling Life Insurance and the Legal Club of America.

Aflac senior vice president and director of sales Thomas Giddens said Ron’s experience within the broker arena has infused the company’s broker initiative with leadership, opportunities, and results.

"As we continue to enhance our Aflac US product portfolio with group products that complement our individual products, I believe our entire sales force, including brokers, will continue to benefit from more options, as will our customers," Giddens said.
