US-based Aetna, a provider of healthcare benefits, has announced that it will expand its Aetna Global Health Connections program to provide international members with additional resources to help manage their health while on assignment.

The new offerings include enhancements to the International Maternity Management Program, as well as the introduction of various weight-management solutions through the Weight Watchers program, said Aetna.

Martha Temple, president of Aetna Global Benefits at Atena, said: Aetna Global Health Connections is a tremendous resource for our international members and we are excited to be able to bring them more programs and services. The expansion of the program further supports our commitment to member health and wellness across the continuum of care and stages of an international assignment.
