To replace Jeffrey Chaffkin, who is leaving Aetna to pursue personal interests

Aetna, a diversified health care benefits, has appointed Kim Keck as vice president responsible for maintaining Aetna’s relationships with the investor and analyst communities. Ms Keck will report to executive vice president and chief financial officer Joseph Zubretsky.

Ms Keck, in addition to leading investor relations, will continue to lead the treasurer’s organisation. Most recently she lead the treasurer’s, controllers, actuarial, and tax organisations at Aetna. She also served as chief of staff to chairman and CEO Ronald Williams from 2005 to 2008.

Mr Zubretsky said: We’re very pleased to have Kim Keck take on this important role for Aetna. Her experience, knowledge of the company and expertise as a finance executive should serve us well as we move to position the company for future success. I’d also like to thank Jeff Chaffkin for his significant contributions during the past several years and wish him well in the future.”

Ms Keck, replaces Jeffrey Chaffkin, who is leaving Aetna to pursue personal interests. Mr Chaffkin will assist in the transition over the next several weeks.
