Netherlands insurer Achmea Insurance Group has implemented Sapiens IDIT software suite for conducting core general insurance business in Australia.
Selection follows the company’s decision to deploy Sapiens IDIT as the strategic software solution across all operating companies within the group.
The Greenfield operation is conducted by Achmea Australia, who will also serve as the company’s main distribution channel on the ground.
Achmea Australia CEO Timo Voorden said the Sapiens IDIT Software suite functionality together with Sapiens team’s extensive experience will help the company to achieve the aggressive business objectives it has set for the Australian market.
Achmea BV Division International program manager Ruud Gruson said, ”Sapiens IDIT’s robust technology enables us an easy opening up of any distribution channel for selling our insurance products."
Sapiens General Insurance & Non-Life managing director Yoel Amir said the selection further expands the company’s commitment to the Australian insurance market.
Sapiens IDIT Software Suite is also currently used in Interamerican and Oranta members of the Achmea Group, who are operating in Bulgaria and Russia.
