ACE USA, the retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, has expanded the capabilities of its products and services for its web-based underwriting facility that offers brokers a platform to access Contractors Pollution Liability Coverage.

This web-based underwriting facility now extends to commercial contractors the option and convenience of procuring contractors’ pollution coverage on admitted paper in more than 24 states to date.

This expanded product offering is available to its commercial contracting clients with coverage for environmental and non-environmental classes of business, including general and trade contractors.

ACE claimed that the eCPL (Contractors Pollution Liability) website offers underwriting advantages which are designed for clients generating $50 million or less in annual revenue; expanded optional coverage to address mold liability with available limits offered up to $1 million per claim for mold liability; and increased overall policy limit capacity from $1 million per claim/aggregate up to $5 million.

William Hazelton, senior vice president of ACE Environmental Risk, said: ACE takes every opportunity to enhance and broaden its products and services on an ongoing basis. Recognizing that ACE’s network of brokers need more flexibility and convenience to access coverage for their contracting clients, the end result of the admitted coverage option is that it translates into better management of environmental risks.
